Irish Infill Maps

Irish Infill Maps

* Over 100 surnames have now been produced as Irish Infill Maps.
* These maps show the distribution of households in Ireland by county, based on Griffith’s Valuation 1847-1864.
* This shows the concentrations of households for a specific surname in Ireland during the 19th century.
* This is useful in determining the likely area to find people with that particular surname.
* You can see an example of an Irish Surname Map on the Home page.
* Each map is individually researched and produced.
* Irish Infill Maps cost £5.00 to download direct to your PC, ready for you to print or save as a pdf file for use on your own family website. (We would be grateful for an acknowledgement - see terms and conditions.)
* New names also cost £5.00 to download, but you will need to order it first.
* Go to the Surname Search page to see if your name is available already.
* If not, request it here - we will notify you when it is ready for download.
